Dear Bell, Cudahy, Maywood Community of School's families,

I want every school in COS Bell, Cudahy, Maywood to be a place of great teaching and learning, safety, and wellness.  Every day, our administrators, teachers, and school staff work to ensure all students have access to school campuses where they can excel and thrive.  This will continue to be our central focus, and it will remain our priority as we work continuously to improve instruction while implementing the COVID-19 vaccination requirement for our school community.

Vaccinations are an essential part of the multi-layered protection against COVID-19 and requiring employees and students (who are eligible) to be vaccinated is one of the best ways to serve our school community, on and off-campus.

I am grateful for your proactiveness and support in ensuring that all eligible students and community members in the Bell, Cudahy, Maywood CoS are aware of and have the opportunity to get vaccinated. These measures help to keep our community safe and our campuses open.  We are making sure to provide vaccine access, share accurate, evidence-based information, and offer other resources to help COS Bell, Cudahy, Maywood community meet Los Angeles Unified School District vaccination requirements when possible.

I know children learn and thrive best with in-person instruction where they can interact with their teachers and classmates, participate in extracurricular activities, and access the academic and social-emotional supports they deserve.  I appreciate your continued support of our schools and their respective staff.
